Lace + Studded Sweatshirt DIY

It's cold in our neck of the woods. Really, really cold. This weather makes me want to stay indoors, wearing sweatshirts all day long. I wanted to think of a way to restyle an old sweatshirt I had and give it a pretty makeover. Here's what I did:

 Supplies: Sweatshirt, lace trim, studs.
Pantry Supplies: Sewing machine, scissors.

1// Begin by sewing a strip of lace trim across the front top of the sweatshirt. 2// Once it's in place, turn it inside out and cut out the back of the sweatshirt behind it. 3// Continue to sew strips of trim across the front of the sweatshirt in various places. 4// As seen in the fourth photo, I cut out behind a second strip of lace trim. You can do this at your own judgement, depending on if you're wanting to wear a tank top underneath or not. 5-6// Lastly, attach studs in various places/patterns throughout the sweatshirt. I used my hands to apply them because the sweatshirt is such a thin material, but you might feel like you need to use pliers if it's too hard on your hands.

Hope your Thursday is going swell.
