As I mentioned a few posts back, I was in a shoot for 417 magazine last week for their bridal issue and also created some pretty projects to go along with the shoot. Here is one of the projects with all the steps so you can create some for yourself! e.n.j.o.y.
Supplies: White paint marker, food cans, wood design scrapbook paper.
Pantry Supplies: Double sided tape, scissors.
First, cut out strips of paper that wrap around the can. Make sure the wood panels are going vertical, not horizontal! Then, take the paint pen and draw on a heart and initials. Lastly, wrap around the can and use double sided tape to hold it in place!
This project is intended to be used at a wedding reception as a centerpiece, but you can really use them in any form you like! What's nice about using it at an event is they cost pennies to make, so you could fill all your tables with them and spend next to nothing. I don't know about you, but you can count me in when it comes to saving a buck or two. ;)
Hope your Wednesday is turning out lovely. xo
