skirt + top, thrifted. Necklace, courtesy of Roots & Feathers. Shoes, Kohl's.
I did it. I survived the weekend. Please don't think it was unpleasant of any sort, though. It was wonderful. So, so wonderful. We had two shoots, a wedding, and a breakfast meeting with some clients.
I still get a bit nervous before any shoot, especially weddings. Honestly, I hope I never get over those jitter feelings. For me, a little nervousness prompts me to bring my A-game; to be aware of everything happening around me, so not to miss special moments, looks, and ultimately, memories. No matter how many weddings I shoot, I always have to treat each one as the most important wedding. Because for that couple, it is. I've been at this long enough to say I'm confident enough that I know the ins and outs of how weddings pan out, but that nervous streak always has, and always will be. If I ever lose it, it's time for me to retire from the wedding business.
Please forgive my obsession for maxi skirts as of late. I can't help myself. They are just so easy to wear, style, and stay cool in. I thrifted this one for $3 last week. Jackpot! Also, I'm sure Laura's necklace caught your eye, and rightfully so. She's put up so many lovely new pieces you can find here. From one friend to another, she's got the best stuff out there.
I'm knee deep in photos, so I'm going to edit until it's time for bed. Hope your Monday is wonderful.
p.s. Congratulations, Heather Belle!

That bus really makes the pictures. It is interesting back there, but it sets off your outfit and everything, instead of stealing from it. These are beautiful! ... You are too :)
