This concept is nothing new by any means, but has more of a fashionable twist on it than those cheesy t-shirts you use to create back in middle school. Below are two files I've created that you can download for free to create the same tanks I made.
Supplies: t-shirt, iron on paper, fabric dye (optional).
Pantry Supplies: Scissors, iron.
Begin by cutting the t-shirt into a tank top. I did two versions; one, cutting the front straight across, and the other, leaving two flaps in the front to tie into a knot. Optional; dye the tank top. Next, print your design onto the iron on paper. Follow the instructions of the iron on paper and apply it to the tank top.
Enjoy!

Lovely! I'm a long time follower but first time posting :)
ReplyDeleteHow did you get the tone variations in the dyed top? Is it tie-dye, did you spray it onto the fabric rather than dipping it...?
Thank you so much for your support! :)
DeleteI wadded it into a ball and dipped it into a bucket of dye, creating the tie-dye effect!
Kinsey

ReplyDeleteWHat program did you use to make the polaroid frames?
Thanks :)
Love this idea! Thinking about doing a shirt with the polaroids for a friend. Recently took photos at her wedding and would be a perfect late wedding gift. Do you happen to know what brand of iron on paper you used? I've tried some in the past that just peel after use.
ReplyDeleteThanks!
Where can I buy that Iron on Paper paper? haven't seen it before
ReplyDeleteI bought the paper at Hobby Lobby. I'm not sure what the exact brand was, but it was in the scrapbook section!
DeleteHi there would also love to find out which brand of iron on paper you used? its hard to find a brand that produces good results.

DeleteHow did you dye this? what color dye did you you use? I love this1
ReplyDeleteThank you! I used a basic dye that I purchased at Walmart in the laundry detergent section. I believe it was the "tan" bottle, but it was awhile ago so I'm not positive.
