This version of a crown is a simple chain in the front with all of the detail in the back. This project took about a mere ten minutes to make and cost around $5. I kept mine simple, but you could add whatever embellishments you'd like! Here's how I did it..
Supplies: necklace chain, large linking hoops.
Pantry Supplies: Jewelry pliers.
Attach two hoops symmetrical to one another so that there is an even length of chain on each side. The total circumference of my base chain was 18 inches. For your own measurements, wrap the chain around your head to get the perfect length. Next, take pieces of chain and begin adding them from one side of the hoop to the other. To create the layered look, make each chain 1/2-1 1/2 inches longer than the other. Depending on how close you want the chains is how to determine how much longer to make each piece. Once you're finished attaching them, reconnect the ends of the hoops.
I styled my gypsy crown with my locks down and also in a top knot. The top knot is a great look for mornings where you might have a short amount of time to get ready but still want to have a unique, bohemian vibe in your attire.
Love this! I have been wanting to find something similar to buy... maybe now I can just make my own :]

This is so beautiful. I want it. For some reason though I cannot pin this onto Pinterest. My computer freezes every time I've tried, but it only happens on this page. Has anyone else has this problem or know what's wrong?
