Leather will always be my favorite material to work with. Such a pretty result every time. This project is really simple with such a detailed result. Hope you enjoy!
Supplies: Leather, brass paper fasteners, belt, strip of fabric.
Pantry Supplies: Scissors, Cropadile, sturdy craft glue.
Begin by cutting out flowers in the leather. To make them similiar in size, cut out a stencil in card stock. // Once you've cut all of the pieces out, punch a hole directly in the middle with the cropadile. // Next, punch holes all along the belt. If you're not sure how far to space them, you can punch the holes one at a time as you're attaching the flowers.
// Next, attach the flower to the front of the belt with the paper fastener. // Open up the back of the fastener to secure the flower to the belt. // Once you've covered the belt in flowers, take a strip of fabric and glue it to the back of the belt so that the brackets won't snag your clothes or loosen.
You can wear this with the belt hook facing the front; or if you're wearing a jacket, turn it to where the buckle faces the back so you see only the flowers. I'm thinking a few other shapes could be really pretty as well.
