Spending this week relaxing after the holidays. Editing, cleaning, working on our new website, and lots of other little business tasks. We'll be spending New Years in Chicago, so we've got a plan to catch up on everything before we head off. If any of you fine folks call Chicago your home, I'd love to hear suggestions on what to do during our visit. We've got a small itinerary, but we always love some input from the locals.
Outfit details: Moccasins, c/o Minnetonka // Skirt, second hand store // Sweater, XXI // Necklace, gifted
I was gifted those beautiful, beautiful Minnetonka boots this Christmas. I'm in love. :)
ReplyDeleteThat's probably my favorite lumineers song! :) Beautiful photos!
ReplyDeleteSo many places to go in Chicago! Really depends on what neighborhood you'll be in. If you're in River North, there's an abundance of delicious restaurants. I'm partial to Sable in RN. Lincoln Park, Cafe Ba Ba Reeba is a must! Delicious tapas. Lakeview, you must try the newest Bar Pastoral (if you like wine and cheese) SO good! Wicker Park? Go to Big Star for tacos and margaritas. River West has a plethora of fantastic places on Randolph St. - The Girl and The Goat is yummy. Andersonville deserves a visit to Hopleaf. Those are the restaurants that really stand out to me! Of course, you didn't ask for food recos specifically, but I couldn't help myself.
ReplyDeleteThank you for all of the suggestions!

Couldn't have said it better myself. If you're a coffee fan, you must try Intelligentsia! And you definitely should try some authentic Chicago pizza. My personal favorite is Lou Malnati's which have several locations around the city. Have fun!
DeleteYou look beautiful!

Sweet Mandy B's in Lincoln Park! It's the cutest little bakery with the best red velvet cupcakes. It's a couple of blocks away from the Fullerton red line near DePaul's campus.
ReplyDeleteThank you for the suggestions, Heidi!
