Sequins Cardigan DIY

The holiday season calls for sparkles. Or at least that's my excuse for adding a bit of sequins to every outfit this week. Here's a project I created to wear during the New Year season. Take a look below to create your own!

Supplies: Cardigan or sweater, sequins strips, fabric glue.
Pantry Supplies: Scissors.

Begin by attaching a strip of sequins down the middle of the cardigan. This will be the foundation strip of the project. Continue adding strips of sequins by creating a symmetrical pattern.

Tip: apply a small dab of glue to the end of each strip so that the sequence doesn't fall off before you can attach it to the cardigan.

I hope you had and continue to have a lovely holiday.

  24. So creative! Can't wait to try this on a plain dress I have.

Did you just glue the sequins strips to the cardigan, or did you sew them on? How would you wash this?

    1. I attached the sequins with a heavy duty craft glue. I planned on hand washing it regardless because the cardigan was prone to shrink. I don't think I'll have any trouble with it altering the sequins, but I'll be sure to update the post if I have any problems!

      Thanks, Audrey!
