Last week I shared round one with you, where I created a top with a thrifted blanket. Here I used the remains of the blanket and created a second wearable D.I.Y.
This is
a really simple project. All I did was cut out the back of the cardigan and
replaced it by stitching in the blanket. Elsie & Emma inspired this
project and have lots of details on how to make your own that you can
find here. I've always thought myself to be a resourceful person, but this project
really challenged me to not feel the need to run to the craft store
every time I want to make a new project, but instead use something I
already have.
I hope these two projects have inspired you to create something new from something old; something you normally might pass by or throw out, but instead give it a new purpose. Have a lovely Thursday, friends.
this is super cute! I need to try this sometime. :)
