I found this backpack at a local craft store and was amazed at how affordable it was. All it needed was a little sprucing up, and it's now become a great statement piece for spring and all of the exploring it holds.
Supplies: Backpack, leathers, leather glue.
Pantry Supplies: Scissors, paper, white fabric marker.
Begin by cutting out patterns in the leather. I chose a gold and bronze leather. For perfect shapes, fold a piece of paper in half and cut out half the pattern. Then, with the leather facing right side down, unfold the paper and trace this pattern onto the back of the leather with a white fabric marker. Once you cut out all of the pieces, begin gluing the pieces in a pattern onto the backpack.

I love the idea of repurposing this backpack. I may buy one and try to put some tribal prints on it!
