Lately I've been making it a point to find new and talented artists. It's so easy to get caught up in your own art that you forget to take time to notice the creative people around you. To be challenged and inspired by them. To wonder why they see things a certain way, where their passion comes from, and how they want to be remembered. Here are a few of my favorite images I've stumbled upon recently. There's just too much talent out there, too many stories, too many beautiful pieces of art, to not let it influence and transform your world.
Who's inspiring you lately?
wow, all of these images are beautiful! a blogger friend and I just began sending snail mail, and her small artistic details in the package inspired me! a watercolor portrait + handwritten letter. everyone is so unique with even the little things, I love it. xo

I actually find your photography style very inspiring, and am often inspired by musicians. I love hearing the passion in someones voice, and am a sucker for someone that is playing an acoustic guitar as they sing - there's just something so raw and beautiful about that combination, I can't resist it x
ReplyDeleteI'm in love with these images; they all seem to tell a story of their own.
ReplyDeleteI always find myself searching through this website's photo gallery (you can see it here: http://photo.net/gallery/photocritique/filter). There you can search different categories of photography (flowers, macro, wedding, etc.) and find TONS of inspiration. I recently found this portfolio and it has definitely captured my attention and led me to think of different composition and image-rotation ideas.
Sorry for such a long rant, just thought you'd might be interested to take a look if you haven't found that website already!

Just a FYI: where it says "I recently found this portfolio..." the word 'this' is actually a link to the portfolio I was speaking of. I forgot to underline it to make it stand out better. Whoops!
DeleteI find your work inspiring! It is different from my style of photography, but I love the airy freedom of it. Lovely! God has gifted you in a lovely way :)

These are so lovely! I'm always inspired by all kinds of art. I feel expression is such an inspiration, whether it's just talking or expressing with the body like dancing.

I love these! Anything that's simple and delicate. Less means more for me in a picture (most of the time).
