Inspired by my love of floral crowns, I created a leaf alternative for the fall and winter seasons.
Thanks to my sweet SB for modeling this for me.
Supplies: floral stem with weathered leaves, hot glue gun, gold jewelry chain.
Begin by taking leaves from the floral stem and hot glueing them in a line for the back of the crown. I started with the first two leaves pointing opposite directions, and added nine more leaves on either side. Then, take the chain and hot glue it to the end of the last leaf on either side. Measure it on your own head before attaching the last ends together. Enjoy!
Love it!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome twist! I love that it kind of looks like a more natural, modern roman leaf crown

Very cool! I love it and think I'll make one but dip the leaves in wax first to preserve them!

ReplyDeleteOh my, this is so beautiful! I like that it's a bit more subtle than most floral crowns. There are so many beautiful speckled leaves outside of my dorm window... I'll definitely have to give this a go. :)
