Missing my darling today. I'm traveling to Memphis two weekends in a row and staying in Springfield the days in between, so it will be ten days without him. I don't mean to complain, because I know so many couples would be overjoyed to only have ten days in between seeing one another, so please don't think I'm playing the woe is me card. I've just been reminded once again how thankful I am to have such a kind, loyal, supportive man by my side. Who understands that I need to travel for my business and never holds it against me when I have to leave, but is always there to welcome me home with open, loving arms. Sorry for the mushy post, but I don't say on here enough what a truly fantastic person he is. My person.
p.s. Here's a playlist that's been keeping me company on the road. Enjoy.
I'd be the same way if I was away from my husband for that long. Hope you enjoy your time and that it goes by quickly! Enjoyed the playlist!
ReplyDeleteI would get very sad being away from my boyfriend that long! Sometimes I get frustrated when we just don't see each other for a few days.

I know what are you feeling! I will travel to the USA (I'm from Brazil) and I will stay there 1 month, to study! My boyfriend will stay here. I will miss him so much! :(

This is so sweet, I love the saying 'my person' x
ReplyDeleteTrust Me, it is by far not a mushy post, but an honest one. I know long distance is crappy, even if it is for only 10 days; they just feel like much more and like You're living on limited oxygen :(!
ReplyDeleteHold up, friend!
Loads of love, SJay!

I completely understand how you feel! He's your significant other, your other half! I feel the same way if my hubby and I aren't together for an extended about of time.
ReplyDeleteSo precious. You will see him soon.

What a lucky pair you two are. I've done my share of long-distance and I know what a strain that can put on a relationship if you don't have enough love and trust established. It's so great that you guys do!
ReplyDeleteYou will be in Memphis this weekend, too??! I live in Memphis! <3
ReplyDeleteBeing apart is the worst! For us, it just helps to think about how grateful to be able to have someone who you miss so much. I must admit, I've had that playlist on repeat today as well. Thanks for sharing

Aww you're so sweet! I think it's healthy to get some time apart and it's natural for a wife to miss a husband. By the way, I love that photo! Are there more autumnal photos of you two? I love seeing you two together, so adorable!
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful! I can only dream to find someone like that one day, but I have hope!

You have such a way with words! I wish that I wrote half as good as you do!! I just love how great your relationship is and I hope that one day I can say I have the same thing.
ReplyDeleteYou have a such beautiful gift for language. Your words are so poignant and emotion-charged, I love reading your posts!
ReplyDeleteI also love this playlist - thank you so much for sharing!!
It's always so important to be thankful. I don't think we're nearly aware enough as to how lucky we all are (despite diff situations)..so it's nice to see someone openly say the words :)
