I've been sitting here, staring at these images, wondering what to write. So many emotions. These two girls are my soul sisters, my kindred spirits. It would take me days to tell about all that we've been through together. We've witnessed and celebrated the greatest moments of one another's lives together, and we've held each other and cried together in the hardest. Throughout all of our stories, people seem to trickle into our lives when we need them most and then part ways when that chapter is over. But these two. These two will always hold such a special place in my heart. No matter where we're at, or what chapter we're in, I know that we will forever be connected in some shape or form.
Kudos to my dear friend, David, for capturing these images for us. I couldn't thank you enough for these. In the short time we've known each other, I can undoubtedly say you're one of my favorite people. Your passion to tell the stories of the lives around you inspires and challenges me to become a better photographer and most importantly, a better friend. Thank you.

Hi, Kinsey. I never comment because it would just get lost in the dozens of others ;)
ReplyDeleteBut I have to come out and say thank you. Your photographer David, has blown my mind with his talent. He capture's the heart's raw emotions and I have yet to moved so much by photos.... but then I watched the video of the wedding at the Garden of the gods.... A true love. A love built on the Rock of Jesus Christ!!
I kinda gulped back a weepy tear when the bride opens her vows with thankfulness foremost to the man who introduced her to Jesus. Their's will be a love that lasts, growing only deeper. This man's work is anointed!... Kinsey, I am an admirer of your work and more importantly your faith. See you in eternity :)
What a crazy, small world...I checked out David's blog...turns out he shot the wedding of my sister's friend, Mac, who she met at school in Texas (where we are from). I think Mac is from the midwest, so that explains it, but what are the odds?!
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful, beautiful photos. They capture your friendship so well. You wouldn't even need to explain it to see the blessing in it.

lovely pictures too
these are so lovely. having beautiful photos that capture your friendships -- genuinely, authentically -- is the best gift. david did a wonderful job.
ReplyDeleteoh, and also, all of you are ridiculously pretty. that's all. : )
ReplyDeleteLovely shoot and I can completely relate to your commentary.
ReplyDeleteI do have a few questions if you don't mind -
1. Where was this shoot done?
2. Did you make the lanterns yourself or did you purchase them? If you purchased them, do you mind sharing where? And if they were DIY, I'd love to see a post about how to create them!
Thanks!
Ashley
