First off, I'm sorry for the absence this week. Life got a hold of me, and I haven't been able to keep up with the blog for the past few days. In just the last ten days alone, I've ran along the west coast on Cannon Beach in Oregon, explored all the nooks and crannies of Portland and Seattle, took a six mile hike up a snowy mountain, braved the shores of the largest waterfall I've ever seen, flew across the U.S. to dip my toes in the east coast waters, rode bikes along the shore and sat under the stars listening to the waves crash against the shore. Plus, boarded an airplane what seems like a thousand times.
Here's a few of my favorite shots from Big Four Mountain in Washington. We took a six mile hike (three miles there, three miles back) to see the Four Big Ice Caves that were unfortunately engulfed by an avalanche. Nonetheless, this place was breathtaking. Absolutely breathtaking.
This last photo taken by my friend Mallory with her iPhone of Sarabeth and I braving the snowy mountain side. Never have I felt so small.

The color photos remind me of film which I love. Also did you do a tilt shift with the first two or was that in editing that you got the effect. You're photos are gorgeous and make me want to go adventure with my cameras! Thanks for sharing!

Washington is so stunning! I love that quote. You have such a unique way of capturing everyday beauty. Challenges me to start carrying around my camera more often to snap everyday pics.
