I can't take the credit for this one. I found this recipe here on Kitchen Simplicity and adjusted a few of the ingredients. Instead of heavy cream, I used soy milk and greek yogurt instead of cream cheese. I also found this recipe to make powdered coconut sugar to substitute for confectioners sugar.
This recipe is delicious and will make your house smell all sorts of wonderful. I made a little extra syrup and stored it in the refrigerator to use in hot tea as well. Enjoy!
