Avocado Face Mask // Clean Living

This clean living post is all about ridding your skin of toxins. Avocados are rich in Vitamin A, which helps remove dead skin cells, leaving your skin soft and fresh. Avocados also get rid of toxins that can help prevent premature aging and wrinkles. Egg whites remove excess oil from your skin, preventing oil build up and fighting off acne.

ingredients:

half an avocado
egg whites
2 tbsp jojoba oil*

You can substitute other oils of your choice if you prefer.

Begin by mashing the avocado in a small bowl with a spoon. Once smashed, stir in the egg white and oil. Place this mask on your face first thing when you wake up. Leave it on for at least thirty minutes. Then rinse with warm water and pat dry. I like to use the remainder of this mix as a body wash. Use once a week for best results.

  1. I've made this exact same mask before, but I used it on my hair. It works great for that too.

  19. This is such a great yet simple idea. I'm always wanting to make my own face masks but so many internet recipes are complicated and they don't sound that nice to put on your face I must admit but this is great.

    Love your blog
