I spent my last morning in Punta Cana walking the beach at sunrise right before heading back to the states. I haven't had internet access all weekend until now. To be honest, it's been nice putting my phone down and subtracting myself from the exhausting world of social media. Remember to take time away from the online "world" to be a part of the real one. The here and now. Interact. Engage. Exist.
Beautiful and captivating, thanks for sharing these
ReplyDeleteI'm glad you had some down time, Kinsey. Thanks for the reminder to take time and space to just BE.

ReplyDeleteThat's so true, we sometimes forget how much social media is consuming us until we live without it for a few days.

Gorgeous photos! I love getting rid of my phone every now and then. I try to do it for at least a few hours on a Sunday. I find that I'm so much more easily able to absorb myself into a project and all I do is put my phone in the other room (that way I can still hear it if I do get an emergency call).
