If you know me, you know First Aid Kit is my jam. Everything they touch (or sing) turns to gold, which makes their recent album name quite appropriate. I was actually extremely disappointed because they were three hours from me in the beginning of June, but a prior engagement kept me from leaving Kansas City for the day.
As always, they leave no room for disappointment. In my personal opinion, FAK sticks true to their sounds and aesthetic we've all come to know and love, but I felt like they went a little outside their realm on this album and totally nailed it on the head. But don't take my word for it, take a listen for yourself!
If you like what you hear, you can hop on over to their store and purchase the entire album.
UGHHHH they are seriously perfect, their voices SOUND like gold. So glad you love them too! Everytime my roommate and I are happy/stressed/sad/ all of the feelings we play FAK. So perfect.

I hadn't heard of this band until I traveled to Europe and there were banners for their new album all over the place--and then I saw this post in my blog feed! Feel so behind the times, but I'm glad I've gotten a chance to hear them now!
