Adding honey to my morning cup of coffee is one of my favorite ways to start the day, especially when my throat isn't particularly feeling up to par. This week I've caught a small bug and a spoonful of honey in my coffee each morning has been a great antidote.
Ingredients:
2 shots of espresso
1/2 cup almond milk
1/16 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract
1/8 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 tablespoon honey
Begin heating the almond milk on the stove top on low, stirring continuously. Combine nutmeg, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and honey into the bottom of your mug. Pull two shots of coffee and immediately add it into the mug. Lastly, stir in the almond milk and serve. Freshly made banana bread is the perfect pairing for this recipe!
Oh goodness this sounds absolutely lovely. You have the most creative and delicious drinks!

This sounds delicious! And I'm obsessed with that saucer, Where did you get it?
ReplyDeleteYour variations on coffee drinks never cease to amaze me. Brown sugar and cinnamon have my favorite add-ons to french press coffee, but I might switch the brown sugar thing to honey. :)
ReplyDeletethat sounds deliciously cozy--I'll have to try these flavor combinations!
ReplyDeleteI love the crockery! :-) sorry the attention got shifted from the drink!
